Freya has just stood down as PL to allow her more time for both her own film work and more Creative Consultancy work with Institutions and Organisations including The Aardman Academy, National Film and Television School, Encounters Film Festival and The Watershed.

During her period as PL, the UWE_FILM course moved up to No.3 in the UK Guardian Universities League, has received a record number of applications is producing Award-winning films and devised an enviable Guest Lecturer Series with the Watershed's Mark Cosgrove which has included speakers like Paddy Considine, Elizabeth Karlsen, Ben Wheatley, Gurinder Chadha, Dawn Gilliam and Mark Ulano.

Whilst Course Leader of Film Production the course gained National recognition, again rising in the UK League Tables and more than doubling applications.
Prior to this Freya taught part time at UoG on Documentary, Film Production and Screenwriting.
