Struggling psychiatric nurse Joe, impulsively absconds to the seaside with Archie, his elderly long-term patient, intending to re-engage him with real life. Although the memories he stirs up are not happy ones, as the murky past resurfaces the two men form a positive, if unlikely, friendship. Visually complex, the use of flickering 16mm and false back-projection suggest the conflicting perspectives of memory and altered mental state.

Collaboration with Composer/ Conductor Jennifer Bell.
A short ‘experimental musical’ based around The Beautiful Machines’ Temple Songs (or the infinite strength of paperclips) performance.…gives voice to the unspoken dreams and desires we have to keep the lid on in the workplace...deeply intimate yet public nature of the office space. The shared yet private dynamic in which intricate, heartbreaking yet quiet victories are played out every day. "Jennifer Bell"
